We provide assessment and evidenced-based treatment/interventions to clients and their families presenting with general outpatient conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, stress management, familial stress).

We help strengthen interpersonal relationships, find solutions to specific problems, and reduce feelings of distress. We apply the highest ethical standards and follow all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Dr. Williams is a clinical psychologist licensed in Texas and New Mexico. She graduated from Spelman College (Atlanta, GA) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University (Pittsburgh, PA), and earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Jackson State University (Jackson, MS). Dr. Williams completed her APA-Accredited pre-doctoral internship at Florida State Hospital (Chattahoochee, FL). As a clinical psychologist, she often collaborates with primary care providers, and/or specialty providers to offer assessment, therapy, and consultation services. Dr. Williams has provided psychology services for 10 years in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health services, military settings, and community-based health clinics.
Dr. Williams is a compassionate and results-oriented behavioral health provider with extensive experience delivering evidence-based treatments in federal and civilian settings, including psychiatric facilities, outpatient mental health clinics, military environments, and community-based health centers. She excels in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of diverse behavioral health conditions, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, serious mental illnesses, stress management, and familial stress. She is adept at conducting psychological evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing trauma-informed care to veterans and other high-risk populations, ensuring their unique needs are met. Her holistic treatment approach emphasizes treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and considers how psychosocial stressors affect physical health and well-being. Dr. Williams is skilled at collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and adherence to best practices. Above all, she is committed to advancing behavioral health initiatives, promoting resilience, and fostering well-being across diverse populations and environments.
Dr. Williams’ interests and expertise include general adolescent and adult mental health. She recently obtained a new certification: Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) granted by the PSYPACT Commission, that allows its holders to practice telepsychology across state lines. To date, her research focuses on identifying and examining psychosocial factors that underlie psychological and physiological conditions affecting people of African descent and their communities. She is the Southwestern Diversity Advisory Committee Representative for Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. When she is not engrossed in her work as a clinical psychologist, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, entertaining and leisure reading.

Telehealth is the use of digital information and communication technologies, such as computers and mobile devices, to remotely access health care services and to manage your health care. Telehealth allows your treatment provider to provide care for you without an in-person office visit. Telehealth is done primarily online through a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Clients must have Internet access in order to access telehealth services.
We do not currently accept insurance plans. Acceptable payments include debit or credit cards. Flex savings accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Accounts are also acceptable.
*If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, we are happy to supply you with a Superbill (Statement for Insurance Reimbursement) through our Client Portal system. This system allows you to submit requests for partial or full reimbursement directly to your insurance provider.
No. We do not record or save appointments to any database or recording device. All information gathered or presented during appointments are carefully safeguarded and protected at all times.
Yes. If economics prove a barrier to requesting therapeutic services, please contact us to find out more about our reduced rating scale. Due to financial hardship, we may offer some clients a sliding rate scale (up to 12 sessions). Additional information may be required to determine financial eligibility. This, however, is a limited service.

PSYPACT is an interstate compact which offers a voluntary expedited pathway for practice to qualified psychologists who wish to practice in multiple states. PSYPACT is designed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology and the temporary in-person, face-to-face practice of psychology across state boundaries. In order to practice telepsychology in PSYPACT states, psychologists licensed in PSYPACT states only, can apply to the PSYPACT Commission for an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). The PSYPACT Commission is the governing body of PSYPACT and is comprised of one representative from each PSYPACT state.
